In 1970, driven by Pedro Rodriguez and Leo Kinnunen, it won the Daytona 24-Hours with a lead of 45 laps over the 2nd-placed 917 of Jo Siffert and Brian Redman – setting a record of 678 laps and 2,757.44 miles with an average speed of 114.866 mph.
