Jackie Stewart leads the way during the 1973 Monaco GP in the iconic Tyrrell 006, followed by his close friend and team mate François Cevert. Stewart went on to win by 1.5 seconds from Fittipaldi; Cevert finished fourth after suffering a puncture on lap two. This was Stewart’s 25th career win, matching the achievement of his friend and compatriot, Jim Clark. The season saw Stewart take his third and final World Championship having clinched victory a total of five times.
